Double Glory: GFA Insurance Voted Top Auto Insurer Again

GFA Insurance has once again accomplished an impressive feat. It has been named as the “Best Auto Insurance” company in Mauritius for the year 2023 at the Global Banking & Finance Awards.

This competition provides companies from around the world with the opportunity to be rigorously evaluated by an independent panel of experts who determine the winners in various categories.

This recognition adds to GFA Insurance’s list of accolades – it had also won the same award in the 2021 edition.

According to Managing Director Abdel Ruhomutally, this achievement demonstrates the trust and satisfaction that clients and experts place in the company’s services and products.

“This recognition is dedicated to our employees, clients, and partners for their constant trust and support,” he affirms.

Last month, the insurance company equipped its 25 branches and agencies with blood pressure monitors – kits for monitoring blood pressure.

GFA Insurance offers this service free of charge to drivers and residents in these regions. High or low blood pressure can affect a driver’s concentration. Complications include dizziness, lightheadedness, and fainting. Serious consequences such as heart attacks can occur, leading to car accidents.

“If a driver (whether a client or not) does not feel well, it will cost them nothing to visit our branches and agencies to benefit from this free service,” Abdel Ruhomutally explains.
