Rs 350 Million Renovation, Port Louis Theatre to Reopen within 1 Year

In a press conference held this afternoon, July 9, the Mayor revealed that the Port Louis Theatre is set to reopen its doors within the next year, following the completion of the final phase of renovations. The project, valued at Rs 350 million, will be carried out by RBRB Construction Ltd.

According to Mayor Issop Nujurally, the renovated theatre will be able to host various events, including festivals and plays.

The theatre will be equipped to accommodate a wide range of performances, catering to diverse tastes and preferences.

Bhooshan Ramloll, Director of RBRB Construction Ltd, elaborated on the scope of the renovation project.

The second phase of the renovation focuses primarily on the interior and decoration of the theatre, as well as other key aspects.
