Air Mauritius Chooses Airbus for High-Tech Operational Support
Farnborough, United Kingdom, 24 July 2024 – Air Mauritius has selected Airbus’ Fleet Technical Management (FTM) services to boost the operational efficiency of its A350 and A330 fleet.
The airline has also chosen Airbus’ Design Studio for cabin interior design services and the latest generation business seats from Stelia Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus Atlantic, to offer an enhanced passenger experience.
Under the agreement, Airbus FTM will provide Air Mauritius with key Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) activities, including engineering support to the Maintenance Control Center.
This will enable the airline to monitor the health of its fleet and implement solutions to improve airframe, aircraft systems, components, and engine reliability.
The enhanced aircraft performance will also lead to reduced maintenance costs and increased operational efficiency.
For its new direct order of A350 aircraft, Air Mauritius has chosen Airbus’ Design Studio to develop its cabin interior design, incorporating the latest trends and sustainable solutions.
The airline has also selected the Opera Business Class seats from Stelia Aerospace for its on-order A350 aircraft, offering passengers a premium travel experience.
The Opera widebody business class seats feature a reverse herringbone configuration and a fully integrated door, providing personalized spaces for passengers and a sense of grandeur.
