PMSD Leader Evades Alliance Talks & Defends Son’s Speaker New Role

Xavier-Luc Duval, leader of the PMSD, has defended his son Adrien Duval’s appointment as Speaker of the National Assembly, stating that there are no conditions attached to the position.
This came in response to criticism from various quarters, including within his own party.
Speaking to the press on Saturday morning, July 20, Xavier-Luc Duval characterized the alliance between Labour-MMM-ND as “bad taste” and a ploy to prevent a “feel-good factor” within the assembly.
However, Xavier-Luc Duval remained evasive when asked about rumors of an alliance between the PMSD for the upcoming legislative elections.
