No Classes: Cyclone Belal Wreaks Havoc, Schools Shut Down

Cyclone Belal: Schools Closed on Tuesday 16th January. The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, Science, and Technology has announced that there will be no classes held in all public and private institutions on Tuesday 16th January 2024.

This includes pre-primary, primary, secondary schools, SEN schools (Special Education Needs), technical and vocational education centers including MITD and Polytechnics Mauritius, as well as higher education institutions.

A cyclone warning Class 3 is still in force in Mauritius.
