Half of Job Seekers in Mauritius Already Employed

Approximately 39,179 individuals have registered as job seekers in Mauritius, as per data from various Employment Information Centres and units of the National Employment Department. Surprisingly, out of this total, a substantial 20,004 already hold employment but are actively seeking better opportunities.

This highlights a dynamic job market, where nearly half of the registered job seekers are currently employed, indicating a desire for improved career paths.

Of the total registrants, 19,175 are currently unemployed.
