39 Cases, Dengue Strikes Hard, Stay Safe
As of Thursday, July 25, 2024, Mauritius reported 29 active cases of dengue fever, including one individual who has been hospitalized.
Meanwhile, Rodrigues has recorded 10 active dengue cases, with two people requiring hospitalization due to the illness.
In terms of leptospirosis, the health authorities noted that two patients had been hospitalized as of the same date.
The Ministry of Health is actively conducting awareness campaigns regarding dengue and leptospirosis, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to address these health concerns.
This initiative was emphasized during the Cabinet meeting held on Friday, July 26, 2024.
