Air Mauritius Flight Nightmare: 78-Year-Old + Babies Suffer Respiratory Hell

Multiple infants and a 78-year-old passenger encountered respiratory problems on board Air Mauritius flight MK749 from Mumbai to Mauritius, reportedly due to faulty air conditioning systems.

The flight, scheduled to depart at 4:30 am, experienced delays as passengers began boarding from 3:45 am onwards, only to be further delayed by an engine issue. Passengers were forced to remain inside the aircraft for over 5 hours without any option to disembark.

The flight has since been canceled, and alternative arrangements are being organized. The elderly passenger, Banudutt Boolauky, is reportedly struggling with breathing difficulties.

Attempts to contact airport authorities and Air Mauritius for clarification have been unsuccessful. The lack of functioning air conditioning left passengers confined inside the aircraft in discomfort.

An official statement from Air Mauritius regarding the incident is eagerly awaited.
