Mauritius Pursues Mega Metro Revamp with Twin Terminal Tenders

Mauritius is seeking private partners to deliver new urban terminals connected to the metro system, as part of a plan to revitalize town centres in Rose Hill and Vacoas.

The Government of Mauritius has issued two requests for proposals (RFP) for these metro terminal revitalisation projects.

The aim is to enhance the image and identity of the town centres with large-scale, mixed-use developments centered around the metro stations.

The projects will be carried out under a design, build, finance, operate and maintain model.

Interested parties must submit their responses for the Vacoas project by 14 May 2024 and for the Rose Hill project by 15 May 2024.
