The Attorney General, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Mr Maneesh Gobin, presents Letter of Exequatur to Honorary Consuls representing Ghana, Austria, Chad, Serbia, Bahamas, Croatia, and Angola in a ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration, and International Trade in Port-Louis.

The Honorary Consuls will play a crucial role in facilitating communication and strengthening bilateral relations between Mauritius and their respective countries.

This is the first time Mauritius has appointed Honorary Consuls for these countries, presenting a valuable opportunity for new exchanges and discussions on potential areas of cooperation.

Minister Gobin emphasizes the importance of having a communication channel and point of contact in countries where Mauritius is an active partner, with an aim to enhance bilateral relations and deepen trade and commercial ties.
