Double Tragedy: 2 Security Guards Lost their lives During Cyclone Chaos

During cyclone Belal, two security guards on motorcycles tragically lost their lives and failed to return home.

Alberto Richard Lajeune, in his fifties, was reported missing by his family, who desperately sought help through social media.

Sadly, his lifeless body was discovered by the public in Tamarin, a short distance from his abandoned motorbike.

An autopsy will be carried out at Victoria Hospital.

Meanwhile, the funeral of Anwar Reza Noormahomed, another security guard, took place, with an autopsy revealing he died from an intracranial hemorrhage.

Noormahomed was swept away by a water current while riding home on his motorcycle, which had been affected by the heavy rainfall on the New Trunk Road in Pailles.

His relative, who attempted to rescue him, was also overcome by the forceful current.
