Financial Crimes Commission: Former Judge Considered for Top Job
Debates and controversies surrounding the establishment of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) have focused primarily on the perceived excessive powers that would be vested in the director of this new institution.
However, concerns also arose regarding the personality of the potential new director, as there were fears that Navin Beekarry would be appointed to this position.
It now appears that a former Supreme Court judge may be approached to fill this role.
