Quay 11 to be Acquired From Currimjee Group

Compagnie Immobilière Limitée (CIL) has announced its approval to acquire Quay 11, a retail property on John Kennedy Street in Port Louis, from Currimjee Jeewanjee and Company Limited (CJ).

The purchase consideration is Rs112.5million which will be settled through the issuance of 4,245,283 new Ordinary Shares of CIL to CJ at a price of Rs26.50 per share.

CIL will apply to the Stock Exchange of Mauritius Ltd to list the new shares, subject to shareholder approval.

The acquisition is part of CIL’s portfolio growth plan and is expected to provide geographic and revenue diversification, contributing to increased revenue and shareholder returns in the medium term.
