After New Year Parties: Increase in Registration Fees For Companies

Company owners, both private and public, have been informed that annual registration fees will increase from January 2024.

Small businesses with a turnover of less than Rs 30 million will see their Registration Fees Payable increase from Rs 500 to Rs 750.

For those with a turnover exceeding Rs 30 million, it will increase from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,500.

Finally, those with a turnover up to Rs 100 million will now pay Rs 13,500, instead of the current Rs 9,000.

Public Companies, Foreign Companies, as well as private, public, and foreign companies holding a Global Business License (GBL), will see their Registration Fees increase respectively from Rs 13,500 to Rs 20,250, Rs 13,500 to Rs 20,250, Rs 9,000 to Rs 13,599, Rs 15,500 to Rs 20,250, and Rs 13,500 to Rs 20,250.

Furthermore, registration fees will also increase for other types of companies.

The fees must be paid from 3 to 22 January.

Registration Fees Payable

Dormant Company: from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,750

Commercial Company: from Rs 9,000 to Rs 13,500

Domestic Ltd Partnership: from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,750

Foreign Ltd Partnership: from Rs 9,000 to Rs 13,000

Limited Company holding with GBL: from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,750

Foreign Limited Liability Partnership: from Rs 9,000 to Rs 13,000

Limited Liability Partnership with GBL: from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,750

Foundation: from Rs 9,000 to Rs 13,000.
