Emirates celebrates ten years of A380 operation to Mauritius

Emirates is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its A380 service to Mauritius.

The service, which launched in 2013, made Mauritius the first African destination for the A380.

Over the past ten years, Emirates has operated nearly 12,000 flights between Mauritius and Dubai, carrying over five million passengers on the world’s largest commercial aircraft.

The frequency of A380 flights was increased to double daily services in 2014 due to high demand.

Emirates has remained committed to Mauritius, partnering with the Ministry of Tourism and the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority to support the island’s economy and tourism industry.
