Rs900million Port Louis Cruise Terminal Inaugurated 

The Port Louis Cruise Terminal was officially inaugurated on December 11, in the presence of Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and several other ministers.

Costing Rs 900 million, this terminal can accommodate cruise ships. Jugnauth argued that this terminal is essential for the development of cruise tourism in Mauritius.

This launch comes at a time when the port is expanding, according to the Prime Minister, and the demand for cruises in the Indian Ocean is increasing.

Jérôme Boulle, President of the Mauritius Ports Authority, indicated that several cruise ships intend to include Mauritius in the list of ports where the ships drop anchor.
