Gaming Houses: 85 licenses granted by GRA  since 2019

The Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) has issued 85 licenses for the operation of betting outlets in Mauritius since 2019, according to the Minister of Finance, Renganaden Padayachy.

This information was shared in response to a question from Member of Parliament Nando Bodha.

The minister also stated that residents in areas where a license has been granted have the right to challenge the decision by seeking recourse through institutions such as the police.
