Air Mauritius to Introduce Daily Flights to Gatwick Starting October 29

Air Mauritius is set to introduce daily flights to Gatwick Airport starting from October 29.

The move will see Air Mauritius shift its operations from London Heathrow to London Gatwick, providing a daily service between Mauritius and the British capital.

While this strategic decision significantly boosts the national carrier’s flight frequency, increasing from five weekly flights to a daily service to Gatwick, it has not been met with unanimous approval.

Numerous travellers have expressed discontent, noting that flights to Heathrow were more convenient due to its accessibility.

The transfer to Gatwick will entail a train journey with luggage, which may be less convenient for some travellers.
