Goran Vujičić is Serbia's first Ambassador to Mauritius

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Mauritius, Mr Goran Vujičić, presented on Friday, his credentials to the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr. Prithvirajsing Roopun, at the State House in Réduit.

In a statement after the meeting, Mr Vujičić said that it an honour for him to present his credentials as the first Serbian Ambassador to Mauritius.

According to him, this event is laden with deep historic significance as Mauritius and Serbia already share long-standing and cordial relations.

Ambassador Vujičić pointed out that he discussed with the President the existing multilateral cooperation between the two countries as well as the need to balance the political and economic relations for common future endeavours. 

Prior to his meeting with President Roopun, Ambassador Vujičić presented his Copie d’Usage to the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr Haymandoyal Dillum, in Port-Louis.

He also called on the Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Mr. Alan Ganoo.
