Mauritius to 'accelerate exchange' with India on e-Governance applications

The Mauritian Government is about to ink an agreement with India to identify “applications to lead the e-Government agenda in both countries.”

According to Cabinet papers of 16 September, the Mauritian ministry of ICT and India’s National Informatics Centre and National Informatics Centre Services (both operating under the aegis of the Indian Ministry of Electronics and IT) will soon be setting up of communication channels for exchange of information between the two countries.

The agreement will also “accelerate exchange in the area of e-Governance applications.”
