Mauritius regulator approves MUA’s issue of 4.6million new ordinary shares

MUA Ltd has announced that pursuant to Section 23(1) of the Financial Services Act 2007, the Financial Services Commission has granted its approval on 30 August 2022 for the issue of up to 4,672,879 new ordinary shares to Société De Promotion Et De Participation Pour La CoopérationÉconomique S.A.

The latter is the development finance institution and private sector financing arm of Agence Française de Développement Group.

The Private Placement is subject to the completion of conditions precedent and is expected to be completed by 21 September 2022.
