Registration for Rodrigues elections now open

Four political parties have so far expressed their intention to participate at the Rodrigues regional elections.

The elections are scheduled for February 13, 2022.

Defi Media reported that the Electoral Commissioner Irfan Rahman is currently in Rodrigues with a delegation to complete the registration process.

Parties and alliances have until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday to register for the elections.
