Cholera Watch: 51 Countries Under Surveillance at Mauritius Ports

Mauritian authorities are closely monitoring the global cholera situation and have implemented increased surveillance at the port and airport for security measures.

There are 51 countries on Mauritius’ watchlist for active local transmission of cholera.

March 28, the Cabinet met to discuss the preparedness measures taken in Mauritius.

It is important to note that Reunion recorded its first case on March 22, which was imported from India according to health officials.
