Emtel, a telecommunications operator, has partnered with the international group Eutelsat to offer satellite internet connections.

Emtel has built and manages a relay station equipped with 21 parabolic antennas in Union Vale, measuring 3.4 meters in diameter and protected by domes.

This station ensures the sending and receiving of internet signals to a network of 656 satellites in low earth orbit.

Eutelsat plans to provide global internet connections, including in remote areas and on planes.

Avinash Chettiar, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Emtel, provides more details in the video.
