FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS:

Expect cloudy conditions tonight and tomorrow morning with scattered showers, some of which may be moderate to heavy at times accompanied by thunderstorms.

Minimum temperatures will range from 21 to 23 degrees Celsius inland, and 25 to 27 degrees Celsius along the coast.

Clouds will develop tomorrow afternoon in the West, South-West, and central plateau, bringing localized showers which could be moderate to heavy at times with thunderstorms.

Elsewhere, expect partly cloudy skies with a few showers.

Maximum temperatures will range from 26 to 28 degrees Celsius in elevated areas, and 30 to 33 degrees Celsius along the coastline.

Wind will be light and variable tonight, shifting to East-North-East at around 15 km/h tomorrow.

Seas will be moderate beyond the reefs with waves reaching up to 2 meters, temporarily becoming rough during thunderstorms.

It is not advised to venture out to sea during thunderstorms.

PRACTICAL ADVICE:

In the event of heavy thundery showers, it is recommended to:

  1. Seek shelter in safe areas and avoid open spaces, hiking, sea excursions, and standing under trees.
  2. Stay away from areas prone to water accumulation.
  3. Exercise caution while driving due to reduced visibility caused by heavy rain and fog patches.
