Mauritius Scholarships 2024: Score Your Dream Education Now

The Government of Mauritius is offering scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic year to deserving students from African Union member states or African Commonwealth countries. The scholarships aim to promote capacity-building at a high level across the continent.

The application deadline for electronic submission is 19th April 2024, while the deadline for hard copy submission is 26th April 2024. Applicants must be above 18 years old and not have reached their 26th birthday by 01 January 2025 for undergraduate and master’s programs.

For PhD programs, applicants should not have reached 45 years old. Candidates must have applied for full-time on-campus studies at a public tertiary education institution in Mauritius for the academic year starting in 2024.

Qualification requirements include successfully completing secondary school and meeting minimum grade requirements such as 24 points at GCE A-Level or an overall average of 70%. TOEFL or IELTS test results with a minimum score of 550 or 5.5 respectively are required for non-English instruction.

The scholarships cover tuition fees, living expenses, and airfare to and from Mauritius. Undergraduate diploma programs last 3 years, while undergraduate degree programs last 4 years. Master’s programs last 2 years, and PhD programs last 3 years.
