Tourists’ Spend Up Increases by 47%

Tourists spend between Rs 35, 600 and Rs 103, 000 in Mauritius. Over five years, the average spending of a tourist in the island has increased by about 47%.

According to data compiled by Statistics Mauritius, it is the Chinese, Americans, Swiss, Australians, Indians, and Germans who are the biggest spenders.
