Constance Hotels Sets Sail for Rodrigues – Doubling Its Presence

Constance Hotels, a luxury hotel brand based in the Indian Ocean, is expanding its presence in Mauritius by adding a boutique property, Constance Sakoa Boutik Mauritius, and two hotels on the nearby island of Rodrigues.

Constance Sakoa Boutik Mauritius offers 16 rooms and provides a smaller alternative to the larger resorts commonly found on the island.

On Rodrigues, the hotel group has acquired Constance Tekoma Rodrigues, which features 32 rooms with private terraces and open-air bathtubs.

The group has also renovated and reopened C Rodrigues – Mourouk under its sister lifestyle brand, C Hotels, offering 65 rooms and two villas alongside a beach club.

This expansion allows Constance Hotels to have a presence on five islands in the Indian Ocean, with a portfolio of 11 unique hotels.

CEO Jean-Jacques Vallet expressed enthusiasm for the venture into Rodrigues, praising the island’s natural beauty and cultural richness as fitting backdrops for their distinct brands.
