8 Years of Success: Cim Finance's CEO Steps Down

Mark van Beuningen, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Cim Finance, is stepping down after eight years to pursue new career opportunities.

He will be replaced by Ambrish Maharahaje, the Group COO, who will serve as interim CEO until a permanent successor is appointed.

Under van Beuningen’s leadership, Cim Finance experienced significant growth and strengthened its position as a leader in the consumer credit market.

The company also remained committed to supporting its clients during the pandemic and became the first to issue a green bond.

Aisha Timol, the Chairwoman of the Board, expressed gratitude for van Beuningen’s contributions and confidence in the future of the company.

During the transition period, Maharahaje will be responsible for ensuring that Cim Finance continues to deliver value to its shareholders and stakeholders.
