Drug Bust: Brother of PPS Diolle Nabbed with Heroin

Drug crackdown: Brother of PPS Diolle arrested for heroin possession. Adrien Alexandre Joachim Diolle, a 38-year-old technician residing in Quatre-Bornes, and brother of Parliamentary Private Secretary and Member of Parliament for Belle-Rose/Quatre-Bornes (No 18), Tania Diolle, has been apprehended for heroin possession.

On Sunday, in the midday hours, an Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) squad descended upon the suspect’s residence for a search.

Two heroin-laden sheets weighing 0.23 grams were discovered.

The suspect, who had been placed under arrest, was to be released on bail as directed by ASP Bissessur.

The appearance of PPS Diolle’s brother in the Rose-Hill Court yesterday morning was shrouded in special arrangements, with the public barred from the courtroom.

Furthermore, the police did not object to his provisional release.

This court appearance has prompted comments from those present at the scene.
