The Mauritian Revenue Authority has set deadlines for income tax and VAT payments, as well as the submission of electronic returns and statements.

According to the MRA, individuals are required to submit current payment system statements and payments for the quarter ending Sept. 30 by Dec. 27.

Similarly, companies must submit advance payment system statements and payments for the same quarter by the same deadline.

Furthermore, companies with accounting years in June 2023 are expected to file their annual returns and make corresponding payments by Dec. 27 as well.

Additionally, Dec. 27 is the deadline for passenger fee and passenger solidarity tax payments, joint electronic pay-as-you-earn (PAYE), and contributions to the national pension or savings fund. VAT returns and payments are also due by the same date.
