Cancellation of concerts: Artists stage protest in Port Louis

Despite the bad weather, artists staged a protest in Port Louis on Thursday, December 21.

Armed with signs and banners, they protested against the numerous concert cancellations and the restrictions weighing on the music industry.

“The music industry is at a standstill,” lamented Bruno Raya, spokesperson for the Artists Association.

He called on the relevant authorities to resolve the situation. Else, they intend to hold several protests in the future.
