Foreign Workers in Mauritius: 71,424 permit requests in 4 Years

The Ministry of Labour has recorded a total of 71,424 permit requests for foreign workers from 2019 to date, according to information provided by Minister Soodesh Callichurn in response to Labour Party MP Ritesh Ramful.

He highlighted that 2022 saw the highest number of requests, with a staggering 20,785 applications.
