Air Mauritius & Co Grants Employees, Other Staff 1.25-Month Bonus

Airport Holding Ltd (AHL) and its subsidiary companies, including Air Mauritius, have approved a special bonus payment of 1.25 months of base salary for their employees.

This generous bonus, however, does not apply to Airports of Mauritius and Airport Terminal Operations Ltd as they have already received their payments. AHL, which has over 19 subsidiaries and oversees operations at Plaisance and Plaine-Corail airports, played a vital role in rescuing Air Mauritius from financial crisis.

In the financial year 2022/23, AHL recorded revenue of approximately Rs 33.5 billion and profits of around Rs 2.5 billion, solidifying its position as the third-largest company in Mauritius.

CEO of Airport Holding Ltd, Ken Arian, announced this decision to employees in a letter.
