Robbery at Grand-Baie Western Union Solved: Five Suspects Apprehended and Stolen Cash Recovered

The prompt intervention of investigators from the Grand-Baie Criminal Investigation Division, led by Detective Inspector Dooshan Thakoor, has successfully solved the robbery that took place at the Western Union exchange office in Grand-Baie this Monday morning, where two armed robbers made off with nearly Rs 700,000.

With the support of the DCIU, the same day, investigators, under the supervision of ASP Buchoo, apprehended five suspects, including a woman.

The police managed to recover Rs 431,030 in currencies and rupees. The suspects are currently in police custody.
