The recent annual report of the police force, covering the financial year 2022-23, reveals a 6.44% increase in the number of crimes while reporting a significant decrease (-19.58%) in offences and drug-related cases.

The report provides data on seized drugs, uprooted cannabis plants, awareness campaigns, arrests, emergency calls, traffic violations, fines, and trends in reported offences.

There has been an increase in crimes against persons, including cases of blackmail, child abduction, sexual abuse of minors, pimping, and prostitution.

However, infractions such as nighttime burglaries, burglaries during the day, and armed robberies have shown a decline.
