Ramgoolam; Possible challenge of SIM card re-registration

During a political meeting in Chemin Grenier on Friday evening, the leader of the Labour/MMM/PMSD opposition alliance, Dr Navin Ramgoolam, announced that he was considering challenging in court the government’s decision to re-register the SIM card.

He added that the matter is being discussed with legal professionals. Ramgoolam assured those present at the meeting that his opposition alliance will survive the test of time and that it will be called upon to take power in the upcoming general elections.
