Tripod Fish Ltd, whose shareholders include Basoodeo Seetaram, a close associate of Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth, has allegedly bagged a contract on October 30 to deliver 20 tonnes liced, cleaned, and frozen tuna to the police for a duration of one year.

According to Defi media, the Award of Procurement Contract was issued by Police Commissioner Anil Kumar Dip.

The total value of the contract is Rs 3million. Since its inception, the company has secured several significant fish supply contracts, including supplying prisons.
