Covid-19 Quarantine Period is Over, Anti-Vax Group Relieved

Activist groups in Mauritius, ‘Nou Pas Bann Cobaye’ and ‘No Covid Vax For Kids’, are relieved that the vaccination mandate and quarantine period have ended, stating that this is a “great victory.”

However, they are calling for compensation for those who faced pressure to get vaccinated or submit test results to work.

The groups fought for unvaccinated people’s rights through peaceful marches and press conferences, starting after an announcement was made about vaccinating children in the newspaper.

The spokesperson for the groups, Linda Lam, thanked those who supported their cause and dedicated their success to God.
