Mauritius Finance Ministry calls for proposals ahead of 2023/2024 Budget

In the context of the preparation of the National Budget 2023-2024, business and trade associations, professional bodies, trade unions, NGOs, civil society organisations, other stakeholders and the public at large have been invited to submit their proposals and suggestions to the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development.

“Proposals and suggestions should be on sustaining the economic growth momentum in the medium to long term through higher levels of investment and exports, thus, building stronger economic resilience,” the Ministry said.

“Focus should also be laid on accelerating the green transition whilst ensuring social inclusiveness.”

Proposals should reach the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development at latest by Friday 07 April 2023 and can be submitted :

  1. to the Secretariat of the Financial Secretary, Government House, Port Louis
  2. through e-mail: prebudget@govmu.org; or
  3. through the online platform: www.mauritiusbudget.com.
