Gamma Civic posts staggering increase in revenue, profit

Gamma Civic Group has posted revenue of Rs4 billion and profit after tax of Rs274 million for the nine months ended 30 September 2022, according to figures just published by the Stock Exchange of Mauritius.

This represents an increase of around 33% for both revenue (Sep 2021: Rs3billion) I and profits (Sep 2021: Rs206million) respectively.

For the same period, the company reported revenue of Rs569 million (Sep 2021: Rs431 million) and profit after tax of Rs419 million (Sep 2021: Rs299 million).

The Group reported Earnings Per Share of Rs1.59 for the nine months ended 30 September 2022, an increase of 31% compared to the previous corresponding period.

A final dividend of Rs1.50 per share (Sep 2021: Rs1.31 per share) was declared on 30 March 2022 and paid in May 2022 in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2021.

An interim dividend of Rs0.50 per share (Sep 2021: Rs0.50 per share) was declared on 29 July 2022 and paid in September 2022 in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2022.
