Labour Party announces demonstration in PM’s constituency

The Labour Party will hold a demonstration in Constituency No.8 Moka/Quartier Militaire on Friday 18 November at Mohit Hall, party leader Dr Navin Ramgoolam has announced.

On the Chagos issue, Ramgoolam cautioned the Mauritian government to tread with vigilance and come up with proper agreements with the UK Government.

He criticised the Bank of Mauritius.  “We do not know if the devaluation of the Rupee will persist and we’re heading straight towards an economic crisis,” he said.
