GFA Insurance celebrates 25th year milestone with international partners
International reinsurers as well as top business and insurance industry figures gathered this week for a cocktail at the Labourdonnais Hotel, in Port Louis, on the invitation of Mauritian insurer GFA Insurance.
The event meant to celebrate the company’s solid relationship with its international partners since its journey started 25 years ago.
These include multi-award winning reinsurance broker, J.B.Boda as well as global reinsurers General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) and African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re).
“Never have we experienced a claim being rejected, which means two things: GIC Re is a good reinsurer and GFA shows diligence in its underwriting and claims assessment,” joked Abdel Ruhomutally, GFA’s Managing Director.
In recognition to the unblinking relationship with its partners, the founders of GFA, Dr Raouf Ruhomutally and Mr Alaoud Ruhomutally, presented commemorative shields to Rohit Boda, MD of J.B.Boda, Holy Andriambololona of Africa Re and to GIC Re.
