Government plans to recruit at least 6,000 people

The Mauritian Government will be recruiting at least 6,000 new employees.

According to Defi Media, several ministries are faced with an acute shortage of staffs.

It announced that recruitment procedures will kick off soon to fill current positions but also for new posts in current structures.

The recruitment of Government employees was suspended in 2020.
