Arif Currimjee gets second mandate at Mauritius Export Association

Businessman Arif Currimjee has been re-elected as President of the Mauritius Export Association (MEXA) at its 16th general meeting this Wednesday.

Founded in 1976, the Mauritius Export Association (MEXA) is the sole private association in Mauritius regrouping the export companies.

For his second mandate, Currimjee will nonetheless have a new Board.

He was cited as saying by Defi Media that that the conflict in Ukraine poses a threat to the export sector in Mauritius, he is “convinced that we can also derive opportunities from these geopolitical problems.”
