Duval vs Dhaliah: Rs50 million damages at stake

The leader of the opposition and the PMSD, Xavier-Luc Duval, is seeking damages of Rs 50 million from the Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) Rajanah Dhaliah for the latter’s remarks during an MSM press conference at the Prime Minister’s Office last November 20.

Along with other MSM MPs, Joanne Tour and Vikash Nuckcheddy, Dhaliah had alleged that Duval wanted to create psychosis and panic among the population through the information he relayed to the public.

“PMSD, or what’s left of his party, are here to wreak havoc in the country,” PPS Dhaliah had claimed.
