Zokey Ahad: Bangladesh's 17th High Commissioner to Mauritius

Zokey Ahad has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Mauritius, the government announced. Currently serving as the Consul General of Bangladesh Consulate General in Kunming, China, Ahad is a career diplomat belonging to the 17th batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Having joined the service in 1998, Ahad has held various positions both at home and abroad, including in Bangladesh missions in Beijing, The Hague, Manchester, and Kolkata.

He is a graduate of Dhaka City College, with a Master of Commerce from Jagannath University and an MBA from IBA, Dhaka University.

Additionally, Ahad holds a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and Trade from Monash University in Australia, and has completed several professional training courses domestically and internationally.
