Labour MP Quizzed Over Hospital Expired Products Videos

The Labour Party MP Eshan Juman was called in by the Central CID on Wednesday, 7th February.

He was questioned as part of the investigation into the videos posted on social media alleging expired products in the Jeetoo Hospital warehouse.

In a statement to the press after his summons, Eshan Juman stated that investigators heard his side of the story.

In fact, the case will be referred to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

He was accompanied by Me Nadeem Hyderkhan who stated that his client maintains his position.

The elected representative for constituency no. 3 (Port Louis Maritime/Port Louis East) also explained that hospital staff had lodged a complaint against him for violating the ICT Act.

He affirms that the truth will prevail in this matter. It is worth noting that these videos had circulated on social media.
