Mauritian Natacha Emilien Appointed CSI Energy Group’s Deputy CEO

CSI Energy Group has appointed Natacha Emilien as Deputy CEO, with a focus on expanding operations in Kenya and supporting a just and sustainable energy transition in Africa.

Emilien, previously Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, will leverage her experience and skills to positively impact the energy sector in Africa by bridging the gap between Mauritius and the continent.

As Deputy CEO, she will promote a just energy transition that balances economic imperatives, environmental needs, and social justice, particularly emphasizing access to electricity in underserved regions.

CSI Energy Group’s involvement in the Olkaria project has contributed significantly to Kenya’s power generation and created jobs, demonstrating their commitment to economic growth and community development.

Looking ahead, Emilien will lead initiatives to develop Kenya’s geothermal and solar potential, contributing to the country’s energy goals.
