UTM and HRDC Introduce Rs2.9 million MSc Program in Blockchain Technologies

The University of Technology, Mauritius (UTM) is launching an MSc program in Blockchain Technologies and Business Applications, in collaboration with the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC).

This initiative, costing Rs 2.9 million and fully funded by HRDC, aims to address market needs in the blockchain sector.

The program targets private sector professionals with STEM degrees and will be part-time over two years.

UTM intends to position itself as a leader in emerging technology education.

The program will benefit from the expertise of Professor Katarina Adam from HTW Berlin University and Professor Shraddha Phansalkar from MIT-ADT University.
